Day 98 - Panama city (old quarter)

Easy day walking around the old quarter to get Holly acclimatised to the Central American heat and humidity.
The old quarter also known as Casco Viejo is a designated UNESCO world heritage site. Located on a peninsula it was originally a walled city designed to protect settlers from pirate attack. The area is currently been heavily restored and redeveloped, every other building was under some sort of construction or repair.
Holly witnessed what i'm sure will be the first of many torrential downpours, and decided she was suddenly not sure if we should drive it them - i am, we will. BIke packed we're ready to hit the road!!
